Choir of Strangers - a co-created, collaborative & fan-generated audio project. Share your voice. Sing with us. Blurring the lines between artist and audience - between fan and creator – machinegum are an artist collective, a band, and an experiment designed to bring strangers together through art and expression. Helmed by Fabrizio Moretti, machinegum's new project ‘Choir of Strangers’ asks fans to listen to two short pre-recorded audio clips, and then sing along and record their vocal interpretations, uploading it to the project and agreeing for it to be used as a musical instrument.

The submissions of fan-generated audio samples will be melted together in the studio mixing pot for a forthcoming project, creating a sentimental symphony out of this beautiful Choir of Strangers.

This is collaborative connection - asking fans to step forward, share their voices, and sing with their favourite artist. machinegum was born to bring fans together, to encourage everybody to make art and explore their own creativity and expression - and upload it into the fan-generated machinegum matrix.

With machinegum - all beings with access to the internet and a computer mic are invited to share their voices here - and to lend their vocal power to a dreamlike audio co-creation.

Fans following this link will be directed to an enigmatic, technicolour sign up page, leading onwards to the audio files and the invitation to participate. All levels of vocal skill and style are welcome. Each vocal line that is submitted will be used as part of an instrument and towards the musical creation produced from the fan-created audio vault.
